Porcelain veneers are bonded to the front of a patient’s teeth using a cement material. Veneers are extremely durable, and can last for years if taken care of. Veneers cannot be whitened or brightened once they are painted on your teeth.

If patients are looking to whiten their teeth, it is recommended to first whiten your natural teeth using a teeth whitening regimen. Once your natural teeth are whitened to the color you desire, our dentist will replace your veneers to match your natural teeth color. This will ensure the veneers match your teeth exactly, and look bright white.

We do recommend to avoid foods that stain teeth such as dark colored liquids or tobacco. Veneers can stain easily, so it is recommended to be careful when eating or drinking.
